Hello!, I'm Claudia Rios Nunez, a Mexican-born Product Designer now based in San Antonio, TX, with over four years of dedicated UX experience.
I'm currently working remotely at Omega One Developers in Austin, TX, and I'm deeply engaged in studying HCI (Human-Computer Interaction). I hold a BA in Social Communication which ignited my fascination with human psychology and behavior, Over time, I've evolved into a versatile UX Designer, specializing in user experience solutions.
My journey began in the 90's during the digital era's rise. In 2014, during the post-recession recovery, I faced industry challenges and took on a unique role as a Child Support Officer at the State of Texas. Over nearly eight years, I developed exceptional communication, facilitation, and interviewing skills, leading a team of 20 officers, training over 50 new hires, and assisting thousands of cases, talking to over 24,000 people a year!
Despite my role, I never lost my passion for design. In 2019, I fully transitioned into UX. My focus is on creating inclusive designs that bridge the gap between users and their products.
I'm on a mission to enhance user experiences by creating seamless interactions. This involves thorough research, gathering feedback, and analyzing market trends to understand customer needs. I closely collaborate with technical project managers, and developers to ensure user requirements are met.
My approach to Product Design is grounded in core values: of good judgment, ethics, and integrity. I believe in facilitating the design process and presenting innovative solutions to optimize products for the best user experience, from concept to release.
